Bio

Jason Huls was born…or some say conjured in central Illinois. He lives outside Chicago with his wife and children.

Jason is a member of the Horror Writers Association. His writing appears in Cthulhu Haiku, Pyre Magazine, Black Sheep Magazine, and other anthologies. The World of Eolan is Jason’s original setting in the d6xd6 roleplaying universe from Lester Smith Games.

Jason holds an M.F.A. in Digital Cinema from DePaul University. He has completed one feature film and several shorts that have played at venues such as the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and the World Science Fiction Convention. Jason’s latest short film, That Damned Yellow Raincoat, won Joe Bob Briggs’ World Drive-In Movie Festival and Best Special Effects at HorrorHound. His screenplay, Where the Wires Lead, was a semifinalist in the Screencraft Short Screenplay Competition.
